Seikai mandara at Shokoji

@The Seikai mandara is known as one the three Pure Land mandalas of the Southern Capital Nara (Nanto jodo mandara).
The other two are the Taima mandara and the Chiko mandara. The existence of ten versions of this mandala in Japan has been confirmed, but almost all are from the Edo period. Only two, the painting at Shokoji in Kyoto and the one at Jokakuji in Sendai, can be traced back to the Muromachi period.

Images of both can be accessed from this homepage so please compare them.
